iOS App Development

After identifying the gaps in the legacy application, our team defined a user-centered plan to develop a highly scalable, accessible, and secure iOS application using ReactNative. We also implemented full-featured eCommerce functionality for the iOS application. 

UI/UX Enhancements & Performance Management

To ensure the right product navigation for small screen sizes, our designers enhanced the user experience based on touch specifications. The developed iOS application has optimized load time, which makes it highly responsive, saves on data usage compared to the web, and provides excellent user satisfaction. Our team also ensured device compatibility for the iOS application from iPhone 8 to iPhone 14, enabling all screen-compatible components and modern features, including touch ID, Face ID, and others.

Synchronized Consistent Experience Across Web And Mobile 

While replicating web features into iOS mobile applications, our team identified inaccuracies with data mapping in the order tracking on the web app. We helped the client fix it by working backward to web applications and establishing synchronization between mobile and web user experience. 

DevOps Implementation

The client wanted to achieve business agility with capabilities like more frequent releases, at higher quality, and with greater confidence. Our team helped them meet the requirements and aggressive timelines by setting up a DevOps pipeline using Microsoft App Center. We set up CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and used Gitlab for code versioning. Selenium and Appium were used to create automated tests and integrated SonarQube with Unit test cases which don’t allow us to generate builds if code quality is less than 80%.

Vulnerability and Penetration Testing 

Since the client is already a renowned retailer in the USA, they wanted to ensure the security of the applications and data from breaches and deliver user satisfaction in all ways possible. Hence our security team thoroughly checked and tested the security posture of the iOS application and identified and exploited bugs and issues that could adversely affect the company’s brand value and customer experience.

Monitoring & Observability 

The team integrated AppDynamics and App Center Crashlytics into the eCommerce store to further enhance the monitoring of the application’s performance. This helped to improve application stability and reduce the risk of crashes, which could negatively impact the user experience.

User Segmentation, Retargeting, and Analytics

Successive’s development team integrated Adobe Analytics & FullStory into the client’s app to gain better insights into customer behavior. The integrated user experience and analytics tool helped the client to track basic user activity, such as page views, clicks, and conversions and enabled them to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience. Additionally, we developed a complete SDK for React Native to simplify iOS application integration with Salesforce using Bridge (code natively) to enable push notifications, as there were no packages for Salesforce available in React Native. We also helped integrate Adobe Experience Manager CMS, which helped them streamline marketing efforts.  

Payment Integration

The integration of Apple Pay, Google Pay & PayPal into the checkout process was set to ensure secure payments. Giving customers access to choose easy and preferred payment methods significantly reduced the likelihood of abandoned carts. Our team integrated Apple Pay, Google Pay & PayPal, considering the security and protection of sensitive customer information. This helped the client improve customer trust and confidence in the newly built application.

Android App Development

By receiving tangible outcomes after the iOS application launch, they were determined to build and scale Android applications to capture new market segments and boost conversions and sales. Using the same React Native code base, we built and optimized the Android application while delivering a native experience.
